80/20 Rule for Business
As a child and young adult I would often hear how time goes so fast and yet I felt it was moving at a snail’s pace. I couldn’t wait for summer breaks, my driver’s license, and to be off to college. Now as an adult, I totally understand the speed of how life goes. The first five years of my 40s have felt like one year of school waiting for summer break. Coffee: Good, Bad, or Indifferent
In my opinion: GOOD, LIFE SAVING, CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT. These are the only words I can relate to the subject. With that being said, not everyone agrees. As with many holidays, we look forward to the day off and rarely think about why we observe the holiday. So we wanted to take a minute to look back at why we observe the holiday. The U.S. Department of Labor states Labor Day “is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the…

School Activities: How many are too many?
School activities are always fun–time with friends, cheering for our team, concession goodies. Our schools today offer many extracurricular activities, including music, sports, and clubs. Some activities we participate in, some we audition for, and others we are elected to. Depending on the type of activity and how we participate, the time requirement can be fairly minimal to reasonably significant. As parents, we want the best for our kids. We want them to pursue their passions and to succeed in all they do, whether that be in school or activities. We also want them to know that we support them, so Mom, dad, or both try to attend as many…
